  3. Chapter 17 -
I would put one more rule, Don't become the bully yourself. Something Eric needs to do is stand up for the people Griffin bullies. Make sure he finally stops bullying everyone.

    Chapter 18 -
What i think what MLK meant was that you won't remember what your enemies said, but how your friends didn't help you.

    1. 19 - I think Eric gave Rudy $27 because he felt bad for Rudy.
I think Eric doesn't tell anyone about the Cd's and money because hes afraid Griffin will find out and beat up Eric.
It is not better to pretend because things will start to get worse and worse so you should stop it the moment it happens.
It's kinda like how David is treated because he gets treated badly everyday. I think David is thinking that maybe Eric is right and Griffin is the bad guy.

20- I think Mary will feel better because she isn't harming and bullying people who have not done anything wrong. I think people let bullying happen instead of stopping it because they don't want to be the victim as well. Things between Eric and Griffin is Eric is slowly starting to hate Griffin and same for Griffin hating Eric.
I think all bullies have that one part of them that seems nice to make you think they are alright then turn around to bite you back.

  8. 17- [slander]
    (Pages 105-110)

 Would you add anything to the “bully-free zone” list on page
    109?
I would not add anything to the list.

 What are some of the actions that Eric has to do to become
an ally (problem-solving bystander or upstander) and not be
    a bystander in bullying situations?
Do things that were on the list in page 109.

    18- [story]
    (Pages 111-116)

 What do you think Martin Luther King Jr. meant when he
said, “In the end we will remember not the words of our
enemies, but the silence of our friends.”?
That the friends did not help with the enemy.

    19- [reaching]
    (Pages 117-123)

 Why does Eric give Rudy $27.00?

 If Eric thinks that Griffin stole the money and CDs, why
doesn't he confront Griffin or tell an adult about it?
Because he didn't want them involved with it. Eric wanted to handle his own problem.

 Is it better to “pretend” that nothing happened?
It is not better because if you just "pretend" that nothing happened, then nothing will be solved. Like in the book Eric pretended that his sneakers went taken.
